FAQs
Our Artist in Residence programs provide individualized Wolf PAC programming to your school, site, or organization. Artist in Residence programs are designed to foster creativity, provide students with the necessary resources to develop as performers, and enhance cultural and artistic exchange within the host community. These programs are specifically tailored to meet the needs of the host, ranging from workshops to after school clubs to full performances. Wolf PAC specializes in theatre education, providing students the tools they need to be successful on stage, which translates into being successful citizens off stage.
-
• We offer during the school day and after school programming to Preschool-K students, 1st-12th grade students, and can even work with adults during team building events!
• We serve all age groups, from Preschool-Adult.
-
We offer four different kinds of residencies: During School, After School, Performance Residency, and Special Projects Residency.
-
Each residency varies in cost based on the duration of the program. We will run a budget unique to each residency and send preliminary numbers to the host school for review. We factor in salary for our Teaching Artists, travel, supplies, production rights (for a full performance), and overhead fees to determine the cost of a program.
-
We do our best to follow a 12 to 1 student to teacher ratio. If the residency supports a large group of students, we will send two Teaching Artists to the host school. We will always discuss what is best for each residency in order to ensure a successful, balanced program for all involved.
-
Our residency programs are for schools who are looking for a drama program or already have one that Wolf PAC can enhance. The benefits of the dramatic arts are plentiful; critical thinking, ensemble-building, creativity, building confidence and more! An Artist in Residence program can supplement existing curriculum during the school day or offer an after-school production where our professional Teaching Artists lead students from rehearsals to opening night of a show. Wherever a host school sees fit, the dramatic arts are beneficial to all children.
-
• Wolf PAC provides a convenient registration system that schools and organizations can access for their sign-ups. However, if a school would rather use their own system, Wolf PAC is happy to support that as well!
• If using our registration system, families will pay tuition through our site. If using your school system, we will invoice the school for the tuition.
